On Monday I was able to get the kids a Salon Hair cut for the first time in years which has been something we could only dream about for over 4 years.

The Head Lice Clinic provides a comprehensive service
The Head Lice Clinic operated at Birkdale South for a period of 8 weeks during Term 3 in 2007.
The service provided by the Head Lice Clinic addressed in a professional manner the problems associated with head lice. Their service supports the Department of Education, Training and the Arts policy HLS-PR-011: Control of Head Lice (Pediculosis) in Schools.
The Head Lice Clinic service supports the provision of a co-operative approach between parents, students and the school, with the Head Lice Clinic providing assistance to support parents in the detection and treatment of head lice.
While parents have the prime responsibility for the detection and treatment of head lice on their children, the Head Lice Clinic can assist with the detection and treatment of head lice amongst students.
When the presence of head lice at school is suspected, the Head Lice Clinic can be authorised by the principal to physically check for head lice if the parent does not object; if the child agrees; if infection control guidelines are observed; and if student privacy is assured.
The Head Lice Clinic can provide an optional on site treatment program for any child identified with head lice. The model used by the Head Lice Clinic conforms to the policy guidelines as parent’s authorisation is required.
The Head Lice Clinic provides a comprehensive service to assist parents and the school community to detect and treat head lice.

Hi Guys!
I had to write to thank you again for the wonderful thing you have done for my daughter. Thank you for the time, the patience, the understanding and especially the upbeat professional attitude that you maintained throughout the three and half hours, the tears, embarrassment and eventual elation we all went through that afternoon.
What you have done for the confidence and self esteem of a certain 14 year old is amazing to see (The gratitude and relief of the mother is fairly wonderful too!).
Thank you also for finding Felicia to give my daughter her first professional salon haircut. (We have been battling this problem for a very long time!) The haircut is fantastic and we shall certainly be following Felicia to her new position for more of the same friendly, funky and fun service we got from her at your place.
